When the Commack Multiplex Cinema still stood there were multiple reports of ghostly activity. Mysterious shadows were often seen gliding across movie screens, and employees reported doorknobs being randomly turned, as well as lockers being opened and closed when nobody was around. Scratch marks were said to appear and disappear on the concession stand glass, even after it had been cleaned. The cinema has been torn down, but that doesn’t mean its ghosts don’t still haunt the Lowe’s that took its place.

I went here as a kid and it always had a weird feeling. It felt like no one was ever there except when my gpa would take me but felt like I was watched by more than Just my gpa. I remember it not feeling safe while there from the condition of the building like the scratches mentioned above and the parking lot always being empty and having a big lobby area (always empty except 1-2 workers). This is probably the best liminal Space I’ve been in but don’t remember anything paranormal specifically happening. Such a shame it’s a lowes now. I wanted to explore it so bad but was already torn Down
