What's new at Bedlam at Brookhaven for 2023? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

New props, New scares, New maze layout!! Adding some new rooms to the maze including an Ancient Egyptian themed scare!

What are you most excited about for the 2023 Halloween Season?

Unveiling all the new props/scares that I have been working on! Bringing the joy of Halloween to as many people as possible!

What differentiates Bedlam at Brookhaven from other local haunts in Long Island?

Its a family built and run haunted maze in our yard. Everything you see (except for animatronics) has been painted or built. Our maze allows visitors to be transported to an immersive, spooky realm.

How long has Bedlam at Brookhaven been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Bedlam at Brookhaven's history?

We started this in 2020, had a good year in 2021, but had to cancel 2022 because my mom got cancer. She is doing great now, so the maze is back and better than ever!

What's your favorite experience since opening Bedlam at Brookhaven?

Having the neighborhood/surrounding area looking forward to it each year. Its really great to have people stop and ask when the maze is getting set up.

How long is a typical haunt experience at Bedlam at Brookhaven from start to finish?

10 minutes in the maze (if you don't run-), waiting on line will take longer.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say Bedlam at Brookhaven is? Why?

Lots of jump scares, dark rooms, dark hallways, noises. Many of the scenes are pretty graphic (like the blood room).

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

I love Halloween! Its not just my favorite holiday but a lifestyle! Every day is Halloween! I have wanted to make a haunted maze for 10 years and spent time building up my prop collection. I finally created it in 2020. My favorite part: Scaring people!

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance Bedlam at Brookhaven?

I use a lot of animatronics and special props.

Can Bedlam at Brookhaven accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Bedlam at Brookhaven together as a group?

5 at a time in the maze.
