What's new at Spooky Fest at Tanglewood Preserve for 2024? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

Every year there is something new... last year we added the Glow Tent and this year we are so excited about our new Mystical Garden....complete with fairies!

What are you most excited about for the 2024 Halloween Season?

We brought the Scare back! Our Haunted Woods is back by popular demand!

What differentiates Spooky Fest at Tanglewood Preserve from other local haunts in Long Island?

Spooky Fest is the perfect blend of scary and not scary. Truly a Family Halloween Adventure - there is something for everyone. Our beautifully lit Enchanted Walk, crafts, Fortune Telling, dancing the Haunted Woods. And of course, there will be some dinosaurs!

How long has Spooky Fest at Tanglewood Preserve been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Spooky Fest at Tanglewood Preserve's history?

The Center for Science Teaching and Learning started Spooky Fest 15 years ago. The first year with a spooky walk in our woods and now we have a 1/4 mile walk through our Haunted Woods (with jump scares) and beautiful stroll n our Enchanted Walk. Each year, we try new things for families to enjoy. Being on 17 acres provides a backdrop for families to enjoy a variety of Halloween activities. Families often come with friends and relatives for a truly unique Halloween experience.

What's your favorite experience since opening Spooky Fest at Tanglewood Preserve?

Over the years there have been many moments. From seeing children dancing to Halloween music...tp the general excitement as visitors enter the venue... and their bravery as they head to the Haunted Woods. We love seeing all the costumes and hearing about what visitors have to say about their experience.at Spooky Fest.

How long is a typical haunt experience at Spooky Fest at Tanglewood Preserve from start to finish?

Most people are here about 1 1/2 hours. There is no particular order to visiting each attraction, nor is there a time limit. Many visitors take advantage of all the photo opportunities.

Can Spooky Fest at Tanglewood Preserve accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Spooky Fest at Tanglewood Preserve together as a group?
