Love this yearly tradition!

This house is so well decorated! All of the figures and lights make for an enjoyable visit. It’s incredible to think of the time and effort that goes into creating such a spectacle! Can’t wait for next year!

The best out there

Stony wood scare is incredible! Decorated perfectly every year and gets better every time. Highly recommend, and of course, a great cause for a donation. If you love Halloween, this is an absolute MUST to visit! Make sure your kids grab a treat by the front door too

The absolute best house!!!!

This was so amazing ! I am absolutely blown away by all the characters, lights fog machine! My 3 year old even loved it!!! We’ll be back!!!!

wow went with my wife and kids, i was amazed at the size and sheer number of animatronics on the lawn. The time, money and effort put into this must have been staggering, i told my wife i felt like i was away at a theme park or something. Lots of lights, sounds, jumping displays, great detail. Every inch of the front lawn was covered. You can walk up to the front door, owners are awesome and friendly. All done for a great cause--Wounded Warrior

Unbelievable amount of animatronics!

There was SO many different moving animated dudes!! There was fog, music, impressive amount of lights and a LOT going on!! We walked along the sidewalk and up to their front door and there was even candy! SO much fun for all ages. We went twice this year and you see something new every time. Fantastic and thank you so very much for doing this !!!

We live nearby and our kids (now in middle school and hs) have loved walking by and driving by on a regular basis to see the house. One year, there was a jump scare in front of the ring doorbell — I’m convinced it was put there to laugh. It’s not crazy gore or fear just good old family friendly Halloween fun that’s done to benefit a cause.

This haunted yard is awesome. I've never been to anything like it and the owners of the house do a very good job decorating every inch of their house and yard. They diligently maintain the props and came out to reset rocking grandma in front of me. She was terrifying.

This is such an impressive display! And one of the most impressive parts is the fact that it is raising money for charity. We absolutely loved walking through, and it’s always a bonus when there is a treat involved! The hosts here are so kind and they truly care. This house was set up with awesome Halloween decorations, fog machine and Halloween candy. It is well worth the drive and donating to a good cause. There are a few decorations that might scare you as it did me. The family is super sweet and the inside is also decorated with Halloween decorations that move. Great place to bring the family.

We went to a few houses in Commack and this by far is the best!! They have a ton of animatronics and some good jump scares. Lots to see and great for the younger kids too!! One of the other homes (on Peppermint) is very cool and has a show or something, but there's so much going on at Stonywood Scare and it's a way different "Haunt". We came last year too and there's SO many more things to see this year. My family had a ball... lots of screams and laughs and some candy was there too! All in all a fantastic time!!!

We drove all the way from Long Beach to see this incredible display of creative genius! So much thought went into all the details it was mind-boggling. Any of the local nurseries who design haunted houses really should take a look at this display and see how it's done!! We had the best time and it's great for children and adults of all ages!
