The Islip Pavilion Theater first opened its doors to audiences in 1946; after a temporary closure it was revived as the Islip Cinemas. Former employees have reported a variety of unusual incidents, including hearing footsteps and knocking when no one has been around. Some have even heard disembodied breathing and heartbeats coming from within the building.

Ghost Investigation Teams have scoped the place out and the theater has been restored in recent years and is in full operation, ghosts and all!
